Bandhani tie dye pink scarf

Bandhani tie-dyed scarf, handmade with love in India by a women-led, ethical textile initiative that provides sustainable jobs to ex-poachers to help save the wildlife of Ranthambore National Park AND keep centuries-old traditional handicrafts alive!

This neck scarf was made using the traditional Indian bandhani (also called bandhej or tie-dying) method of resist-dying.  The artisan plucks and ties sections of fabric across the material, then dyes it, dries it and unties. It produces an intricate pattern of small dots across the fabric.  This tie dye method has a long tradition in India, and in Rajasthan specifically.

This scarf is lightweight and can be used as a scarf, stole or blanket.  Each scarf is unique due to the handmade nature of the product.

  • HANDMADE unique tie-dye scarf for the home, lovingly tie dyed by rural women on the outskirts of Ranthambore National Park
  • COTTON mix Machine Wash and Dry, easy clean
  • Measurements: L--96.5", W- 45.5"
  • Your purchase makes a difference for wildlife, stray dogs and empowers rural Indian women!

  • Spay and neuter programs to reduce the number of stray animals in India.
  • Helping injured and sick animals.
  • Vaccinating against rabies and other life-threatening diseases.
  • Awareness programs to promote co-existence.

Thank you for helping us help dogs!
